Blurred Vision
It was a rainy morning, I woke up and
went outside to turn the heater off from the basement because there is no
switch in the apartment. When I entered the house my clothes was soaked and I
was cold. I rush to get my towel to dry my skin and went straight to bed. The
sound of the rain was so loud I couldn't sleep.
It was
almost 10:00 am and I decide to go browse the Internet and read
electronic news. I noticed my vision was blurry but I thought it was rain drops
went inside my eyes when I went outside. While on the computer I was unable to
view the fonts on the computer screen. Thoughts of what is wrong with my eyes?
Why I can't see clear? This cannot be rain drops. I went to the washroom to
grab some eye drops and pour into my eyes and it made my vision worst.
While on my way to go back to see if I can read the fonts on the
computer screen I stumbled onto the bathroom door and hit my head. I was
unconscious and could not see anything. My family had gone for vacation to
another country. Fear of death starting to run through my mind then I quickly
hold the home Button on my iPhone and used Siri which is an iPhone app which
listen to you voice command and processes it into a phone activity which a
human can do. I then said to Siri call 911 and say my location. At that point I
did not know where I was.
I woke up in the hospital and did not even know how I got there.
The doctor then told me my door was break to enter my house and quickly rushed
you to the hospital. What is wrong with I asked the doctor. She then explained
that they found ears drops in my eyes and also said my vision has deteriorated
due to long use on computer and looking at other screens. The ophthalmologist then
said to me I will experiment blur vision sometimes if I don't take glasses. I
was then taken the next room where she was able to treat my eyes and gave me a
pair of glasses.
I then also then came to realized that if it wasn't not my
smartphone and technology my family would have seen me dead and also came to
relapsed the negative things that technology has done to my eyes.
